US STOCKS-Blue chips trim losses as energy shares recover

The Dow Jones industrial average was down 34.79
points, or 0.26 percent, at 13,302.87. The Standard & Poor's
500 Index was down 1.59 points, or 0.11 percent, at
1,491.30. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 4.24
points, or 0.16 percent, at 2,578.40.
