Icahn raises Temple-Inland stake to 8.3 percent

(Reuters) - Temple-Inland's recent proxy statement showed that Icahn
held a 6.7 percent stake with more than 7.2 million shares as
of March 27.

UPDATE 2-Icahn takes stake in Kraft Foods - WSJ

(Reuters) - The newspaper said it was unclear how much of a stake Icahn
has taken or when he bought the shares, but it did say he was
not seeking radical changes, as he has at other companies in
which he has invested.




The newspaper, quoting unnamed sources, also said Kraft
Chief Executive Irene Rosenfeld planned to meet next week with
another activist investor, Nelson Peltz.

Icahn takes stake in Kraft Foods - WSJ

(Reuters) - NEW YORK, July 13 - Billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn has taken a stake in Kraft Foods Inc. , according to the online version of The Wall Street Journal.



The story did not make clear how much of a stake Icahn has taken or when he bought the shares, but it did say he was not seeking radical changes, as he has at other companies in which he has invested.

Lear accepts sweetened Icahn bid

(Reuters) - Pzena Investment Management LLC, which holds some 6.6 million Lear shares, or an 8.6 percent stake, said it plans to vote against investor Icahn's latest offer for the auto parts company, saying the company should remain independent.




Icahn, who said just weeks ago that he would not raise his offer for the auto parts maker, lifted it to $37.25 per share from a prior $36 offer that proxy advisory firms and several shareholders called too low.
